Hi, I'm Calvin! I am a freelance media specialist with experience in social media and online content management, copywriting and editing, and photo and video editing for a variety of short- and long-term clients. I am also a part-time young adult minister for the North Tuscaloosa Church of Christ. I previously worked as a graduate teaching assistant and writing mentor at the University of Alabama, where I earned two degrees in journalism.
Some of the organizations I have done freelance work for are Alabama Heritage, The Christian Chronicle, Religion Unplugged, Proofit (a Grammarly service), Tuscaloosa Career & Tech. Academy, North Tuscaloosa Church of Christ and 24 Communications.
I previously worked as a graduate teaching assistant and writing mentor at the University of Alabama, where I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in journalism. I also interned at a newspaper — The Tuscaloosa News — and a magazine — Alabama Heritage — and worked as a writing mentor to assist journalism students with their writing assignments.
